A CALL TO MINISTRY OF SERVICE
John 13:1-7

“Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served,
but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
Matthew 20:28

Jesus KNEW. . . . .
His hour had come.
He would depart the world and return to heaven.
Judas would betray Him.
The Father had put all things into His hands.

Jesus is TEACHING . . . . .
The way to greatness is ministry
The way to power is humility
The way to position is serving

Jesus is TEACHING US. . . . .
A true servant doesn’t wait to be asked.
A true servant doesn’t criticize others that don’t serve.
A true servant serves without the expectation of a return.
A true servant realizes,” I am serving Christ.”

“Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.”
I Corinthians 11:1

“I have given you an example that you should do as I have done to you.”

“For the equipping of the saints (saved) for the work of ministry,
for the edifying (building up) of the body of Christ.
